omg. i haven't updated my blog in like forever! i've been so busy and found it hard to even keep up with updates. i don't have many fics i'm following that update regularly so i really try to keep track of the ones that do. but i have to admit it is difficult sometimes...

so i plan to get back to my weekly blog updates next week. today i will let you all know some new fics i've found that i am LOVING!

• paper hearts by hezpixie. edward/bella. soooo good! great AH story about a married couple and the relationship issues they face. amazing story.

oh and let me tell yall (does anybody even read this blog?) about an amazing completed fic i read this weekend! Daedalus in Exile by EZRocksAngel is amazing! i loved it so much. it starts with the beginning of midnight son but quickly diverts from there. this fic has a truly intense connection between edward and bella and also THE HOTTEST change scene i have ever read. seriously. go read it right the fuck now!

omg, i LOVE this story. bella's parents were killed when she was 8years old and her godparents, carlisle and esme raised her. edward was 17 at the time but went off to college. they always had a close bond, but when bella graduated from highschool, edward finally saw the woman she had become. this fic has an amazing jealous acting, dirty talking edward. i can't tell you how sexy it is. this is going to be one to drop everything for when it updates :)

i am on chapter 12 of 37 right now. from the very first chapter i was laughing out loud. this is hilarious. bella was living on the streets when she met rock star edward. one thing leads to another and bella is offered a job to help with edward's management. there is great dialogue in this fic and i love the tough bella that isn't afraid to let her guard down for edward.

i found this AH story a while ago when it was a one-shot. someone rec'd it to me this week and when i looked it up realized it was now a multi-chapter fic. i am so excited! that first chapter was so hot. bella is engaged to edward but has a drunken one night stand with jacob that she can't get out of her head. there are 7 chapters so far and it is so good!

chapter 17. such a great chapter. masenvixen did a great job expressing bella's feelings and emotions. we know from new moon how broken bella was after edward left and this fic is really exploring that.

chapter 22. this fic is so good and each update puts it closer to the top of my favorites! this chapter was amazing and the thing that stood out the most was buff's ability to write in one pov but express so clearly what the other characters where going through. this was an action packed chapter! i love this fic so much that i wrote a separate review here.

chapter 17. omg! such a great chapter! the love i have for this fic is deep in my bones i swear. savage is brilliant and wonderful. there was a bit of loving a bunch of action. i swear i think this story is for everyone. i don't think it is possible for someone NOT to like this fic. if you are not reading it, you are missing out...

i read this in the read along on twitter. i don't think i would have read it otherwise. i loved it! great mix of humor, angst and lovin. i don't usually read funny fics and this one had me laughing out loud :)

while watching new moon, i suddenly got the urge to read a sam/bella fic. something about the way he carried her out of the woods i think. well i found this and i really liked it. the thing that stood out the most was how the author really captured the imprinting process. there were some grammar and editing issues but the story was so good i was able to over look them.

i actually read the first chapter of this back when i didn't know what AH was. i didn't understand why edward wasn't a vamp so i stopped reading. so now months later it was complete and i was able to read the whole thing. it was great! thrilling and exciting. i am now reading the sequel.

good chapter. this is a jasper/bella fic, but right now bella is still with edward. i usually have a hard time with that, but this edward is DARK. so it is good to see the process of bella turning to jasper.

one of my favorite stories. this is a fast paced story and her on-time weekly updates makes it that much better! this chapter had me shaking in my boots scared of james...

i love when i find a story that is fifteen or more chapters in and i fall in love. it's like a much wanted birthday gift. i read the first chapter last night Dark Games & Twisted Minds and immediately fell in love. today i devoured the additional eighteen chapters. i am a big AU girl so if you tell me edward has a hard time controlling his bloodlust i am there!

one of my favorite things about this AU is the time katinki put into showing us the extent that bella's blood actually called to him. i always felt that SMeyer missed the mark on that point. to say that bella is edward's singer is an awfully strong statement in my opinion. i don't believe that edward should have been able to sit next to bella for an hour that day in class. at the very least he could have run out of the class and feigned sickness. this story shows exactly how hard it was for edward to refrain from draining her. this quote says it all.


the first thing i noticed about this story is that the author does a third person narrative beautifully! after reading this i realized that my new favorite thing is 3rd person narrative. katinki does a superb job with descriptions and visualization. i love how her chapters are not super long but packed full. she moves the story and plot but takes time to make us feel like we are also on the ride.

oh and i love how katinki brings in cannon quotes and events into her story. it all started with twilight, right? from bella telling edward that tomorrow is her turn to ask the questions, to edward calling james absolutely lethal. so good.

although i prefer AU stories, i must say it is easier to find a good AH story. so when i find a really good AU i hold on for dear life. this story has quickly made it to my favorites tab on ff.net and i only have nine stories on there...

also Dark Games & Twisted Minds has made it to the final round in three categories for the 2010 Indie Twific Awards: best action/drama, AU WIP that knocks you off your feet, and best secondary characterization.

so i have been thinking about reviews lately. do you always review? do you review stories that you don't like? do you read other's reviews?

personally i think reviewing the stories you read is very important. the only 'payment' authors get for posting their story is feedback. i don't consider myself an author but i have posted a couple chapters. i don't think i am alone in saying that when i get a review it literally makes me smile and brightens my day.

we read these awesome stories for free, i think the least we can do is take out two mins to type a couple sentences. here is a review i just sent this morning.

after bella's mom dies, her father isn't emotionally able to care for her as he should. bella spends most of her childhood with carlisle, esme and their boys; edward and emmett.

the third person narrative is written flawlessly in my opinion. i feel equally connected to both characters. i especially love being in the present with them, however, the author brings the in the past in a way that makes me feel like i am viewing flashbacks through their eyes.

i can not express how much i LOVE this edward. a possessive edward is a sexy edward. and this edward is hella possessive. bella is obviously affected by edward however, she holds her own with him. in this AH fic, edward has an interesting ability; he can read her mind. i will let you read all of the specifics but it is very sensual in my opinion.

this fic has one of the strongest emotional connections i have read between edward and bella. with the mind reading, their past and the physical attraction, i am almost overwhelmed with the intensity.

this story is filling me with so many emotions. i've laughed, cried and bitten my nails in suspense. go read it and i promise you will love it too :)

Bella’s blood was just too tempting to be ignored. In this version of Twilight, Edward takes Bella on a sadistic journey with his monstrous side. While Edward drags her around the world, barely keeping a step ahead of his frantic family, Bella battles the monster for possession of the gentler vampire inside her captor. EPOV.

i am going to rec all the stories that i love on this blog. i will go back and write about the ones that i have already read, but for my first rec just had to do my current obsession. i can not find the words to describe how great this story is. i will try to tell you why i love it and hopefully convince you to read it if you are not already...

this is an AU story that picks up after school on bella's first day. unlike in twilight, edward is not able to resist drinking bella's blood. he does however realize that he should leave her alive so he can continually drink from her every three days. so he kidnaps her and tries to hide his location from his family.

without giving too much of the story away, i have to say how wonderfully written this story is. savage does such a great job with edward's pov and i also really feel connected with bella although she doesn't switch pov's. there is so much growth with edward's character alone. and the pace at which edward and bella build a relationship is very realistic.

i love bella in this story. her reactions to edward and her situation is very believable. her character is strong, smart and loving. she is not just along for the ride, she is the other half of this story.

some of the things that i love about this fic are simple but brilliant. i love the chapter titles and i love the 'so much for ' quotes at the end of each chapter. not to mention that the spelling and grammar is impeccable so the story flows without annoying interruptions.

this fic is for everyone. people who don't usually read AU love it. people who don't usually read darkward love it. people who don't usually read WIP's love it. everyone loves it!

savage usually updates once a week and posts on twilighted a day before she posts it on fanfiction.net. she is very active on the thread and sometimes posts on twitter.

i promise you will laugh, cry and hold your breath throughout. now go read it!

so i first realized i was addicted to fanfiction when i stayed up until about 3am several times in one week. i just couldn't stop reading. part of the problem was that when i first started reading, there were already so many wonderful completed fics. i would keep telling myself; just one more chapter.

so now it has been a little over 3months and i am still going strong with my addiction. how long can this last? i'm guessing this is going to go on for some time. there are a billion stories on my to read list, and the list grows every single day.

the fandom is also such a fun place to be. i love reading blogs and message boards about what everyone is reading. and there are great contests starting all the time.

so for right now i am going to live in the moment and not worry about the future!

so i decided to start a blog about all this twilight fanfiction i've been reading. actually the thing that really got me started was because i wanted to utilize that cool eclipse countdown...

so in my blog i will discuss the fics that i am reading, things going on in the fandom and anything else twilight related. i am totally obsessed with fanfiction and my goal is to make you obsessed too!
